Register HERE to be part of an intimate group of 8 lucky attendees who will spend Saturday, July 13, learning from the best in the field.

Jody Horton will instruct students how to: light a dish; collaborate on-site with a food stylist; capture the most delicious product shots; look for inspiration beyond the kitchen and table to complete the visual story; and narrow down the take so editors are hungry to publish your work.

Jody was recently in New York for the 2013 James Beard Awards (“The Oscars of Food”) where his collaboration with Jesse Griffiths, AFIELD: A Chef’s Guide to Preparing and Cooking Wild Game and Fish, was nominated for the Single Subject Book Award.  His very first cookbook, AFIELD was featured in The New York Times Magazine, and the Chicago Tribune, yet Jody’s evocative and mouth-watering images have consistently graced the covers and pages of Texas Monthly, Food & Wine, Bon Appetit, Southern Living, Austin Monthly, and Tribeza.  Editorial heavyweights aside, Jody has been awarded the ICP International Photo Awards’ Peoples Choice Award, and his commercial work for McGarrah Jessee, GSD&M, Dripping Springs Vodka, Whole Foods, and Sway represent the cream of the crop.
